The Hearthland Foundation is a passion project founded by Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw. The organization makes grants to nonprofits, co-designs projects, and invests creative capital to help build a more just, equitable, and connected America. They tasked us with designing and building their website, which served as a tool to publicly launch the organization. I was responsible for collaborating with our creative team and the Spielberg’s creative masterminds to develop elements of the website, including creating modules and animation concepts for the homepage, an interactive grants archive, image gallery and form submission tool.
